Eiffel

We sure chose a dull dreary looking day to visit such a cool monument.  If you go, keep in mind that you can make a reservation (if you think about it in time), and if you don't, consider your options: pay full price and wait in line for 1+hour for the elevator or pay half price (or thereabouts) and wait in no line to take the stairs.  Since we had Eli with us--and the kid is bad at waiting in line--we thought we'd climb the tower instead of waiting around for the lift.  Pay attention to this part: there is a line for a reason.  Pay full price and stand in that line as long as it takes.  I mean it.  I believe there are some 1600 steps that we climbed and it was excruciating.  And poor Eli...
